The widespread exhibition moves to the maxi digital LED screen
On 12 and 13 June, the Urban HEART project was staged, bringing the works of 21 artists to Urban Vision’s maxi digital LED screens in Milan, Rome, Naples and Catania. Among the artists who took part in the first edition were Virgilio Villoresi, Tommaso Ottomano, Florencia Brück, Simone Brillarelli, Anderson Tegon, Alessandra Breviario, Alberto Maria Colombo, Lorenza Liguori, Donato Sansone, Megan Volpe Stancanelli and Karol Sudolski.
The initiative was promoted by Urban Vision Group, the leading creative-tech media company in the Out Of Home sector and urban regeneration. The artists responded to the company’s call and their works replaced the normal advertising programming from 7 p.m. on Wednesday 12 June until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday 13 June.
Previously, from 16 to 22 May, Urban Vision Group had brought the street art of Obey (aka Shepard Fairey) to the streets of Milan, while the Fabbrica del Vapore hosted the artist’s first solo exhibition in Italy, entitled “OBEY: The Art of Shepard Fairey” (still ongoing, closing on 27 October, ed.). In this case too, the selected works were displayed on large digital screens in Milan, for an exhibition spread throughout the city centre but also near Piazzale Corvetto – Rogoredo Station.
